As a RTW Designer, you will play a vital role in conceptualizing and developing innovative ready-to-wear collections at ALOHAS. Collaborating closely with the Head of Design and other members of the Design Team, you will oversee the full design process, from initial concept to final production sample. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape our collections and bring your creativity and expertise to a dynamic, fast-growing fashion brand.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• Create and develop trend-driven ready-to-wear designs that align with ALOHAS’ brand identity and customer expectations.
• Research and source innovative fabrics, trims, and techniques to bring fresh ideas to life while prioritizing sustainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, merchandising, and production, to ensure designs are feasible, high-quality, and delivered on time.
• Develop detailed tech packs and CADs, clearly communicating design intent to suppliers and manufacturers.
• Conduct trend research and market analysis to stay ahead of customer needs and industry developments.
• Lead seasonal storytelling and themes that enhance ALOHAS’ collections and resonate with target audiences.
• Oversee the sampling process, ensuring that final garments meet the brand’s high standards in both design and execution.
• Research and build relationships with new suppliers, ensuring alignment with the brand’s values and sustainable practices.

YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE...

• Proven experience in ready-to-wear design, with a minimum of 5+ years in a similar role, preferably within premium or fast-growing fashion brands.
• Strong creative skills and attention to detail, with expertise in garment construction and technical design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D design software (e.g., CLO 3D); experience with AI design tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• A proactive mindset and problem-solving attitude to navigate challenges during the design and production process.
• Solid understanding of fabrics, trims, manufacturing processes, and sustainability in fashion.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• A passion for fashion and a keen awareness of ALOHAS’ brand values and market position.
• Willingness to travel as needed to collaborate with suppliers, attend trade shows, and conduct research.
