THE ROLE
At ALOHAS, we are passionate about pushing the boundaries of sneaker design. Our mission is to create innovative, high-quality footwear that resonates with consumers and defines trends in the industry. 

We are looking for a visionary Sneakers Designer to join our dynamic team and help us shape the future of footwear. The Sneakers Designer will play a crucial role in our design team, leading the creation of cutting-edge sneaker designs from concept to final product. This position requires a deep understanding of sneaker culture, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate market trends into innovative and commercially viable products.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization and design of new sneaker collections, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market trends.
• Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products to inform design decisions.
• Concept Development: Create mood boards, material & colors boards and sketches to present design concepts and ideas.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the product development and factories to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
• Material Selection: Select and source appropriate materials, components, and finishes that enhance the design and functionality of sneakers.
• Technical Specifications: Develop detailed design specifications, technical drawings, and production-ready files.
• Innovation: Drive innovation in design techniques, materials, and technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
• Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from internal teams, consumers, and market tests into final designs

YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF… 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in footwear design, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative sneaker designs.
• Proficiency in design software: Adobe Creative Suite), hand sketching, 3D software and IA would be a plus.
• In-depth understanding of sneaker construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong creative vision with the ability to translate concepts into commercially successful designs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends in fashion, design, and technology.
