THE ROLE

The AR & Credit Manager is responsible for safeguarding ALOHAS’ cash flow by leading accounts receivable, credit control, and recovery efforts across global B2B operations. This role ensures timely customer payments, evaluates and optimizes credit risk exposure, and manages the entire lifecycle of both insured and non-insured receivables from onboarding through collection, claim, and potential recovery.

The role balances operational excellence with financial stewardship: reducing overdue balances, enforcing policy, optimizing credit insurance costs, and maximizing recovery of bad debt.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Oversee full AR process: invoicing, collections, reconciliations, dispute resolution, and fraud escalation
• Lead and develop AR team; monitor overdues, enforce credit policy thresholds, and manage overrides
• Set credit limits, manage insurance coverage, file claims, review uncovered risks, and adjust terms
• Maximize recovery of unpaid accounts, manage third-party partners, and track ROI vs. insurance costs
• Prepare AR, DSO, and risk reports; optimize processes, credit costs, and recovery performance
• Maintain credit policies and onboarding requirements; partner with Sales, Operations, and Legal to resolve holds and disputes

YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE...

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
  4–6 years in AR, Credit Control, or Credit Risk roles, preferably with recovery responsibility
• Strong experience with credit insurance (COFACE preferred) and ERP systems (Odoo ideal)
• Demonstrated success reducing DSO, optimizing insurance coverage, and recovering bad debt
• Fluent in English (Spanish highly valued); strong communicator and negotiator
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and confident making decisions with imperfect data

• Understanding of recovery strategies, external collections, and enforcement tools
• Capable of driving change in cross-functional teams without direct authority
