THE ROLE
The Business Project Manager will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and leading critical IT and data initiatives.
This position sits within the Project Management Office (PMO), reporting directly to the Chief of Staff. The PMO currently includes another Project Manager who focuses on eCommerce, retail, and user experience initiatives. In contrast, this role will primarily support Operations and Finance, while also contributing to cross-functional projects across other areas of the company.
Success in this role requires close collaboration with teams across the organization to ensure alignment, execution, and impact. The Business Project Manager will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and leading projects that align with our strategic objectives.
To thrive in this role, the candidate should have a solid understanding of KPIs, data analysis, process mapping, and project management methodologies.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Analyze and document business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
- Design and implement solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity, including the use of technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project outcomes and business impact.
- Lead end-to-end IT and data projects, overseeing planning, execution, delivery, and post-implementation support.
- Create detailed process maps to visualize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
- Develop and manage reporting systems to deliver actionable insights and track business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsβincluding IT, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Financeβto ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise project reports, proposals, and updates to senior leadership.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in process improvement, data analytics, and project management.
YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the fashion retail industry.
- Knowledge of process optimization tools and technologies, including RPA.
- Expertise in data analysis, KPI development, process mapping, and performance measurement.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering IT and data projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Clickup).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Highly desirable experience in migration projects and ERP system development, preferably Odoo.
