THE ROLE
The role of Controller presents a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the strategic growth and operational efficiency of our fashion company. If you are a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for fashion and a strong background in demand planning and purchase control, we invite you to be part of our innovative team.
This role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Budget Management:
- Develop and meticulously monitor the purchasing budget for each Business Unit and category.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of margins and suppliers to optimize costs effectively.
Sales/ Purchase Planning:
- Demand Planning, responsible for forecasting and managing inventory levels to ensure the right products are available at the right time, balancing supply and demand.
- Plan sales and purchases with a keen consideration of prices, quantities, and product alignment with the brand.
- Implement strategies to ensure the smooth integration of purchasing plans with overall business goals.
Variable Tracking and Analysis:
- Track and analyze variables across various dimensions, including stores, countries, models, and product lines.
- Utilize analytical insights to drive informed decision-making and strategic adjustments.
KPI Development and Monitoring:
- Create and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specific to the Business Unit.
- Establish benchmarks and performance metrics to evaluate and enhance operational efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Foster constant interaction with key members of the Business Unit, providing proactive financial and operational guidance.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects within the commercial management department to ensure cohesive operations.
YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE...
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Business.
- Possess a minimum of 4/5 years of experience in roles such as Business Controller, Financial Controller, or Senior Auditor, including experience in a Big 4 consultancy.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical skills for the effective management of sales budgets.
- Exhibit strong planning and negotiation abilities to meet deadlines and budgetary constraints.
- Good command of English and Spanish.
- Showcase advanced proficiency in Excel and Looker BI for comprehensive data analysis.
